At Heaven Sent Early Learning Center, we strive to motivate and encourage children to become leaders within their future. Not only do we value and focus on the children in our care, but we also encourage families to become actively involved in their child’s early educational needs. Family involvement promotes school success for every child of every age.

 

Heaven Sent Early Learning Center was founded in December, 2014 and opened its doors on January 1st, 2015. HSELC started as a family oriented childcare and has grown to become a large childcare center. We are licensed by the Maryland State Department of Education Office of Child Care. Every staff member in the facility is First Aid and CPR certified and all teachers are licensed to be as such.

Early Infant

Our Early Infant program is for children aged 6 weeks through 12 months of age. This program is well put together to ensure our teachers build a special connection with all of the children and form a high level of trust between the babies and their families. Our classroom provides a healthy environment for all children to grow, explore and discover throughout their early years. Professional care, love, and nurturing goes without saying, but our teachers are also well trained to provide your precious one with an enhanced curriculum that will have them improving their language, cognitive, physical, and social development.

Toddler

Our toddler program is for children who are 12 to 23 months of age. This program is in place to ensure our teachers build a special connection with all of the children and form a high level of trust between the toddlers and their families. Our toddler classroom environment at Heaven Sent Early Learning Center is full of structure, guidance, and learning through play. Of course, we know that kids will be kids, especially during this age, but we also know that with a little guidance and structure, we can train our toddlers to form a higher level of independency, knowledge, and wisdom that’s beyond their tiny years.

Two Year Old

Our two year old program is in place to ensure that we provide your child with high quality education that supports their current level of educational needs. Early preschoolers will work on their cognitive development, language and communication development, physical development, health, self-help skills, and social/emotional development. They will also begin working on critical thinking, taking on challenges and making connections. Their writing, math, reading/early literacy skills will also be focused upon and they will learn with hands-on and engaging activities. Children this age have their own unique way of learning as well as comprehending at a different rate than others.

Preschool Program

Our preschool program is for children who are 3 – 5 years of age. This program is where teachers will invest a lot of time and dedication into your child’s educational needs and prepare them for Kindergarten. Preschoolers will learn and develop in several areas. These areas include: language arts and literacy, math, science, social and emotional development, gross and fine motor skills, and cognitive development. Children will work on strengthening their abilities in writing, reading and math skills. They will participate in activities to make sure that they are school ready. Preschoolers will become more structured and prepared for what to expect when entering kindergarten.

Age Appropriate & Accelerating Curriculum

We understand that each child is unique and experiences rapid growth and development during their early years. Our age-appropriate curriculum is thoughtfully designed to meet the specific needs and interests of children in each stage of their journey, from infants to preschoolers.

Daily Reports

We understand how important communication is between our parents and staff. At Heaven Sent Early Learning Center, we engage in Brightwheel, which allows our teachers to update parents regarding their child’s day, how much food they are consuming, their progress during potty training, and messages for parents and teachers to stay in constant contact throughout the day.

Security Cameras

The safety and well-being of your child are our top priorities. We understand the importance of providing a secure environment where children can learn, grow, and play with peace of mind. To further enhance the safety measures at our center, we have implemented a state-of-the-art security camera system.
